Eater Chicago reports that Black Briar, the first solo restaurant from chef Jimmy Papadopoulos (formerly of Bohemian House and Bellemore), opens Saturday, September 26, at 201 N. Morgan Street in the former Bar Takito space. The modern American tavern is built around coal-fired cooking and a raw bar, with a 20-seat U-shaped bar, an 80-bottle wine list, and a cocktail program led by partner Tim Anderson.
